There is nothing pragmatic about arm-wrestling; "romance," as I understand it, is similar but with less tact. Both tend to willfully ignore their pretenses.
In the real world, pragmatism loses. But you knew that. You've really kind of only created a lesser-of-two-losers type scenario here.
I'm gonna try and get up in time for the meeting tommorrow.
