Long flight; I slept five times in all. Was able to do so in such a way that I made it through a whole day once we got here (arrived in the morning). Tropical big city. Walked around downtown, saw the famous bridge and opera house. Pub food, new beers. All the beers I've had have been strongly hopped... pilsners and pale ales taste like IPAs. Not a bad thing. Street markets visited... rugby on TV at the pub. Then, the highlight of the day: we're at this Thai restaurant with a removable roof (the roof was on). All of a sudden there's this heavy downpour, out of nowhere. Then BLAMMO, a huge crack forms between two of the removable roof blocks, and water POURS into the seating area! Right behind our table! It was hilarious!
